Benjamin (Ben) Brammeier is a dedicated family law attorney committed to serving individuals and families throughout Mid-Missouri. With a strong foundation in discipline, service, and academic excellence, he brings a results-driven and compassionate approach to every client matter.
A lifelong Missourian, Ben graduated from the University of Missouri in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree. During his time at Mizzou, he was a member of the University of Missouri Cross Country and Track and Field teams, earning Academic All-Big 12 honors in recognition of his commitment to both athletic and academic excellence.
Following graduation, he attended Officer Candidate School and was commissioned as an officer in the United States Army. He served seven years as an officer in the Missouri Army National Guard, where he developed the leadership, integrity, and perseverance that continue to guide his legal practice today.
Ben earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri School of Law in 2019. While in law school, he distinguished himself academically by earning a place on the Dean’s List all six semesters. He was an active participant in the MU Law Veterans Clinic, assisting Missouri veterans in obtaining VA disability benefits. He also gained valuable legal experience clerking for the Department of Homeland Security Immigration Court in Kansas City, the United States Attorney’s Office in Jefferson City, and Evans & Dixon in Columbia, Missouri.
Today, Ben focuses his practice on family law, representing clients in matters that require both strong advocacy and thoughtful counsel. He understands that family law issues are often deeply personal and works diligently to help clients navigate challenging transitions with clarity and confidence.
He lives in Columbia, Missouri, with his family and remains active in the local community.
